From Calgary's custom home sites to the sun-drenched hillsides of the Okanagan Valley — Tamarack Outdoor Living was born from a belief that the best moments in life happen outside.
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Tamarack Outdoor Living was founded in 2014 in Calgary, Alberta, where our founder spent years working alongside end-to-end custom home builders — mastering the disciplines of structural framing, spatial design, and exterior finishing. That foundation wasn't just technical. It was a philosophy: that every detail matters, that craftsmanship is a form of respect, and that the spaces we build shape the way people live.
Eventually, the mountains gave way to the valley. The Okanagan's extraordinary climate, its long golden summers and the way the light falls on the lake — it all pointed to one undeniable truth: this is where outdoor living reaches its fullest expression. Tamarack relocated to the Okanagan to do exactly that. To take everything learned from building homes from the ground up, and apply it to the spaces where families gather, where evenings stretch long, and where home becomes something more than four walls.
